What are the device requirements?

xpertSea does its best to support as many devices as possible, but there are limits to what devices we can support. For supported OS version, we support:

  • Android 5, LOLLIPOP

  • iOS 13

However, as Android 5 is a very old OS there are some additional device requirements we suggest for older devices. We have the following requirements for Android devices:

  • Minimum:

    • Processor: 1.5 GHz dual-core processor

    • RAM: 1GB

    • Storage: 8GB

    • Resolution of the main camera +2.0 MP

  • Recommended:

    • Processor: 2 GHz quad-core processor

    • RAM: 2GB

    • Storage: 16GB

    • Resolution of the main camera +2.0 MP

At this point in time, some Android devices have faced issues with the time it takes to capture the photo. Specific devices include various Huawei, Redmi, Samsung, and Realme models. On these devices it can take about 15s to capture a photo. We are investigating solutions, but the issue seems to be with the operating system and we are unable to make changes to resolve the issue. No issues are faced on iPhones, nor some other Androids.
